No one can deny that Orchids are spectacular when in bloom. That spectacular beauty only pales in comparison to the sheer number of recognized Orchid species, let alone the hybrids and cultivated varieties.
We try to carry a wide variety of Orchids, from the classic look to the strange and wonderful. You can usually find various Phalaenopsis, Cattleya, Dendrobium, Encyclia, Colmanara, Bakerara, and Odcdm in our Conservatory. Different types of Orchids have very different needs so be sure to read up on the variety (or varieties) you are caring for.
In addition to Orchid plants we also carry potting mix specifically made for Orchids.

Tillandsia (Air Plants)
Sometimes the dirt, the pots, the fertilizers, and trying to remember to water your house plants gets a little old. The solution? Tilandsia.
Tillandsia (airplants) are plants that get their water from the moisture in the air and require no containers or soil. If you have a humid conservatory or room the maintenance required of you is almost non-existent. If you do not have a readily available source of humidity where you want to grow your Tillandsia we suggest using a water spray bottle to moisten your plant.
We generally will bring in a large shipment of Tillandsia varieties in the late spring for you to choose from. Bergeri, Aeranthos, Paleacea, Ionantha, Brachycaulos, and many more in individual plants and clumps.
A beautiful form or striking leaf color is sometimes all you need to bring a room alive in your home. A wonderful living accent piece that draws the eye, cleanses the air, and brings the feeling of being more closely connected to nature back into your home.
When you explore our Conservatory here at the Nursery you will find a diverse selection of plants that are remarkable for their stunning foliage, structure, and ability to make a real statement in your home.
You can find Philodendrons, Swedish Ivy Charlies, Diefenbachias, Rex Begonias, Palms, Pothos, Crotons, Aralia, Zulu Plants, and many many more…
When beginning your indoor garden you may consider picking up a few starter plants. These are younger plants in smaller pots and are perfect for those who are interested in a smaller investment or who may be unsure of the how well a house plant would do in their home.
Most of the Starter House Plants we carry come unmarked from our growers so be sure to ask one of our staff if you are unsure of what you are looking at and for growing tips for that specific plant.
We also carry a fair number of books that deal with caring for your House Plants.
